I do get sick of some of the classics. EVERYONE knows "Hakuna Matata" and "Can You Feel The Love Tonight", but what about "Shadowland" and "Morning Report"? Those are great songs. But I think you have to go for the scenic design/costumes/puppeteering. It is absolutely stunning when the animals come walking down the aisle in "Circle of Life". I think "Brooklyn's Here" will remain in the show because I know they made a big deal of changing Spot Conlon to a girl for the junior production. It wouldn't make sense to go to all that trouble and cut the song. And "The Bottom Line" has been cut too.
