Wonderland IMMEDIATELY came to mind. That was one of the worst shows I have ever seen. Being in the cavernous Marquis with basically no set didn’t help it either.

I think it could be cute and fun. Particularly if it’s in a Spongebob musical meets 39 Steps meets the Clue movie type of way.

It’s not just equity there’s also IATSE and Local 802 (musicians union). . There’s also a portion in our contract that gives a commercial rate for filming that is fairly substantial. It’s cheaper to film over in England because the stagehands are not unionized and only make around $15 an hour compared to 2 or more times that on Broadway.
Also we don’t get weekends or 40 hour work weeks in theatre but i agree with the rest of your sentiments F

They‘ll get given to the crew. Speaking from experience as said crew also everyone is generally sick of Schmackery’s backstage because we get 3-5 boxes A WEEK

She was always a temporary replacement for Cynthia after LJT left and Christiane started! I believe she's back in Frozen now."

My guess would be to show that she is no longer a part of the family
Saw the invited dress last night. It was their first time doing a full run of the show, which they noted in the opening speech. I throughly enjoyed it! The god costumes were a highlight, they were all so fun - I especially enjoyed the Hermès one since it was a direct call back to the movie. Jelanni was super cute and charming as Hercules. I think that the set will be like what they did for the Tony’s - they built a giant sandbox with bleacher style seats on the perimeter
To clarify the party was called the Broadway Bloodbath Bash. Planning for it started about a month ago by one of the PW ensemble members when all of the shows got their notice so close together, before the recent tragedy and motorcycle incident. The name probably should have been changed but at that point the marketing and flyers had already been making the rounds at the backstages.
