I love in person lottos, so exciting. I love the announcement about late comers get as much of a chance as everyone else. Missed in person lotteries as they've disappeared. Good luck to all.

Reeve is a brilliant choice for the part, speak only for yourself, "we" doesn't exist considering he's part of a Broadway community that chose him, and you simply are not. The part isn't for a typical leading man. This man is a wonderful actor and musician as well. You personally insulting actors due to obvious personal issues is tired.
Caught the matinee yesterday and everyone was in. Eva looked and sounded incredible, so glad she's feeling better. The audience was electric and by act

I have no problem with the subject matter, I just thought the play was garbage. That being said, I hope we get a more diverse crowd of theater goers with this coming season.

If you don't like the idea of an Ivo West Side, then don't go. There are productions of this at major regionals nearly every year. And they're usually all just recreating the original concept with contemporary edge. It ain't the only - or the last - one."
Or, you know, just scroll by our comments and keep living your life. We can have any opinion we want rega
I was having dinner last night at Joe Allen's and John Benjamin Hicky was at the table next to me talking about this and how thrilled and exhausting the next year will be. Seemed like a great guy with some wonderful ideas.
Baby is due third week of September. I am seeing him on Monday, and he has the BN CD signing on Tuesday, so hopefully he will be at both. He might take leave after she is born though. No idea how long.

Wayman_Wong said: "To say Aaron Tveit categorically can't act is ridiculous, considering his over 15-year career as a professional performer of Broadway, TV and feature film. As for ''Moulin Rouge!,'' Ben Brantley of the New York Times raves that Christian is a role that Tveit was ''born to play'' and that his ''passionate and uncompromising performance'' is his ''best Broadway work to date.'' Sutton Foster, like Audra McDonald, is known for her career on Broadway. Their other roles are all average that any other person could do. But, they are both Broadway stars, and once again, people attend the theater for certain people. Sutton Foster is one of them. Anyone who doesn't get that doesn't see Broadway musicals.
HeyMrMusic said: "Having two Tony Awards is a draw...for theatre folk. I’ll admit she’s a small draw, but the ticket demand will mostly be for Hugh Jackman. I’m glad I provided some amusement!"
Absolutely! Tourists see her all the time (not really hardcore theater folk). She is the star and draw of the shows she is in in NYC. People go to see her, and that's that reason I'm attending this show. Hugh Jackman isn't a great singer IMO,
the only one of the six who is a monetary draw is Hugh Jackman.
I laughed out loud at that ridiculous statement. Thank you. Now, I will watch Sutton Foster's TWO TONY award winning speeches. Anything Goes. Violent. Milly. Sweet Charity. SHE is the reason people go to shows.
I don’t care if you have six or sixty Tony winners in your cast; this is shaping up to be the whitest revival since...Hello, Dolly!
It seems very murky and it seems that whomever is working at BWW that day decides what is offensive or not.
The Amar Ramasar thread was not censored much besides the terrible people calling the young woman suing a "whore" and "slut". Yet, the Reeve and Eva are dating thread was deleted within a few hours even though it came from a news source. I was told it was deleted because "BWW doesn't typically accept threads about people's private lives&
People don't need an advisory on art. We can handle ourselves in life, thank you. You are clearly very young because only people under 20 years NEED people to acknowledge everything they say and can't deal with people not replying. You assume your comments are ignored because people don't respond to you directly?
Truly mind blowing and incredibly cruel. If a person doesn't love theater, and supporting people in their community, this website clearly is not for them.
Do I want other people to have the opportunity to see a show I don't like? No, and the whole guilt trip about putting people out of work is just so lame.
Wow, I apologize for engaging with you, anyone who says something like that clearly doesn't support themselves financially nor has a family to provide for. I would say you are ignorant, but insulting children isn't really my thing. The ability for you to have complex thoughts and adult discussions only comes
You wish for it to close just because you didn't like it? So, you don't want other people to have the opportunity see it and everyone to lose their jobs? You seem rational.
The first user to mention the show in this thread really summed it best: "A great week for everyone's favorite punching bag, TOOTSIE!". I just think some people on here are really sick of people making threads about the potential closing of the show, and week after week talking about how it should, need, and must close. People love beating up this show for a reason that has yet to be explained, so it can be frustrating at times.
