I really enjoyed it! It wasn't perfect, but I think they did a great job and it was well worth my day trip to Chicago. They really captured the feel of the piece, and it was so nice to see Malloy's music performed.

Has anyone on here seen this in Chicago yet? I’m planning a day trip to the city tomorrow to see it and will report back. I don’t know this company or theater but I’m obviously hoping it’ll be done well!
I'm really hoping they did a good job on it, too. I can't wait to hear the digital version and will buy the CD the day it's released. I loved this show and I think it'll be my favorite new score for quite some time.
I saw it on Wed afternoon and REALLY enjoyed it. Glad to see that first review is positive, and I’m hoping it gets a lot of love from the critics. It’ll be fine without it, but I’d like to see some praise for something so good and different.

I had a seat at a table and definitely started feeling the lack of cushioning in the backs. They aren’t awful, and it was so fun being that close I think it was worth it, but the real seats look much more comfortable.
Thanks for the responses. It's interesting to see such mixed feedback. I have a ticket in a little less than two weeks for this and another show, and have to figure out soon which one I'm going to see. Short trip and it's the last slot I haven't finalized. Looking forward to hearing more opinions. Thank you!

Dang, I'm sorry to hear that. One site that tracks this info said the front row was pretty good. I'm very tall and have a front row mezz seat in about 3 weeks. At least I have an aisle seat, so hopefully I'll survive.
