awww, I don't think Brandon has attitude!!! But I agree, this is one of Tyce's better routines. He's really hit and miss with the B'way stuff.

I only WISH someone had exposed me to more plays in high school - I was a musical girl all the way, and never got into straight plays until undergrad.
I would say, choose one from each of the following four categories: 1. New musical from either the 08-09 or 09-10 season 2. Revival musical 3. Broadway play 4. Off-Broadway play or musical
That way, the kids will get a taste of everything - new work, revived work, plays, and works that are a little mor

I know at least one understudy who has gone on with NO put in rehearsals (not for HAIR). Things happen, and unless it's a vaca coverage, you can never know when you're going to be going on.

It's a tough call...because one might think if they DON'T sell standing room, that person might buy a ticket that's still available, but then again, if they are opting for standing room, it might be because they don't have the money to buy any other ticket price.
Some people recognize that, and some people don't...which sucks.

If I remember correctly (and I usually don't!), there was a big hoopla in London over that kind of thing - pulling quotes out of context - I want to say there's a law? Something was put in place to assure it wouldn't...couldn't happen.
I don't know if they have the same thing in New York, though. You could probably Google the answer, I'm just too lazy. :)

isn't his Joe's Pub show on 7/27? He'd still have plenty of time to get ready - Hair doesn't do a Sunday night (right?)

I was thinking the same thing about Spelling Bee. And The Producers? Come on. Based on a movie.
My vote is for Caroline or Change, for sure.
Spring Awakening isn't original either, sorry. Based on a play.
I think the only really good one I have is my '93 Joseph... playbill - Marc Kudisch as one of the brothers. :) I'll have to go back through and see if I have anything else great!
