RENT Off Broadway Cast Revealed! Jul 11

I love Rent, it was the first Broadway show I ever saw, but is anyone actually excited for the revival? It'll be nice to check it out next time I'm in the city but I think this is a strong case of too soon to be revived. I just feel like there are plenty of other shows playing right now that deserve some attention, and plenty more revivals that are due.

I always loved watching the All in the Family reruns with her. Great comedic timing.

LOVE Grease 2. There was a time when I preferred it over the original. And that's one great looking cast.

Judging from that preview video, that particular incarnation looks exactly like the movie. I'd probably be bored too. I love the movie, but who would want to pay top dollar for a show that they can almost verbatim at home.

I'll always remember getting chills as the Night Waltz at the top of the show began. And Bernadette winking at me during curtain call. One of the most magical nights I've ever spent in the theatre.

As mentioned, Tyne Daly would be an interesting choice for Bea. I'd personally like to see Donna McKechnie do it though.
I was completely in love with the night waltz. I had front row seats, and felt completely immersed in the action. I can imagine how lovely it must have looked from the balcony.
