I’m sure I’m regurgitating a lot of what has been said above, but this show was a hot mess. If it were a sixty-minute-long attraction at Universal Theme Park then I would have been satisfied — they overcame the big hurdle of getting me to empathize with the puppet because I truly did. However, this was supposed to be a two-and-a-half-hour long Broadway musical, and I think the creative team forgot that after they saw how cool
