The Prom is expected to stay open until the Tonys, at least. Overheard from a cast member. I don't know how they'll do it, but I'll be so pleased to see it happen.
I'm so thrilled for him. He's a family friend of someone I know so I'll finally be getting around to seeing DEH just for his performance. I hope he had a fantastic debut!!

I haven't been this excited about a transfer in a looonng time. Can't wait for them to sweep the awards season!
I was at the matinee today, and it was fantastic. Truly a special show. I was also backstage after and here's what happened with the whole Kate/Beth situation according to Josh Lamon:
Right as Saturday's matinee was ready to get going, Beth became incredibly ill (and still is, apparently) and ran offstage before the curtain came up. The show was held, and Kate was thrown into the role last minute, having had no rehearsals and not having been fitted for costumes yet. So, as
I haven't read through this entire thread yet, but just responding to the initial question: this generation (and no, I'm not trying to ostracize younger people, I'm in my early 20s myself) seems to be incredibly entitled when it comes to the time and attention of their "idols," so to speak. King Kong rush? Nov 1

Wondering if anyone has rush reports for King Kong this past week. I'm working overnight and may try to grab a ticket on the way to catch up on sleep.
The swings/standbys/understudies of Mean Girls aren't allowed to share in advance when they'll be going on. So it's all a guessing game. Sometimes they'll post little hints on instagram the day of or the day before.
You should be fine. The Booth is small enough where there really are no bad seats, especially for a show like this where most of the action is smack dab in the middle of the stage. I sat in the last row of the mezz last night and wasn't bothered in the slightest. In your case, I don't think the overhang will be an issue at all.
Supposedly Zurin Villanueva from Mean Girls is playing Dionne.

Very pleasantly surprised by the responses on this thread. This was on my list of things to catch in the next few weeks, but I may just have to move it up in my priorities.
