Even though Cher has been in previews for one day I’ve heard Block is giving a stunning performances. Could it be a race in between Caruso from Beetlejuice and Block from Cher? From what I’ve heard both have been giving killer performances. Who would be more likely to win? (I feel like this is a smaller category this year)

Yeah I agree. I’d be very surprised if BMC won. I feel like Tootsie will beat them. I’m not sure how it compares to other shows but I feel it has a good chance of the tony this year. It’ll at least get Santino a high chance win. Does anyone know how The Prom will stand? I know they had invited dress yesterday and first preview today. Also how’s the featured actor race is this year. I feel featured actress is pretty competitive.

Now that both Beetlegeuse and King Kong are in previews. What are people thinking these shows will bring in awards? I feel like both will get noms for tech for sure and potentially Brightman nom for leading actor. Also I’m just wanting to say I’d be very surprised to see someone beat Fontana’s performance in Tootsie. It’s seriously phenomenal.

I went to the matinee show this Saturday and I feel like there were significant number of changes. This is my 3rd time seeing the show apologies if these have been mentioned. Most importantly this is the greatest day changed to this is the most important day which was a change. I’m not sure if I like it. . They never said this is the greatest day at all. Also the beginning scene has TMNT bed sheets during that number. I enjoy how Rita and Rob were added into previously ensemble roles

For those curious, I did the lottery and was in row A phenomenal seats I could see everything just fine. Poor Fontana and the mic. It was hilarious how he handed it for a good chunk of the act. I’ll write a full review but I thought the show was hilarious thus far.
