Same thing happened to me in September. I was going to surprise my little sister with Wicked tickets, and we ended up winning. I gave my purchased tickets back to the box office to sell to the cancellation line, and ended up getting my money back. Legal and easy!
They must have some killer group sales advances for this to be happening.

She's not the first one to end on a higher note. It's usually at the discretion of the music director. Few women can make the E3 sound pretty.

Mary Poppins has t-shirts, aprons and autographed posters. The big seller is a backstage tour/meet and greet with Gavin Lee, Steffanie Leigh and the kids playing Jane and Michael for $150.

glad to see sister act is creeping back up. According to the Playbill Club emails, it looks like they're trying to fill the rear mezz up again. Good news?
I would've liked to see more funny stuff, but Lindsay Mendez made that clip worthwhile.

It's still too soon to tell how bad we'll be getting hit. The last chatter I heard from NBC at the top of the hour said we'll be getting a category 1 in time for the Sunday matinee curtain. We'll probably have a much better idea tomorrow. Regardless, I don't see Broadway going dark for this storm.
Wouldn't have too much trouble with the BOM SRO line though, eh?

Urinetown - Follow Your Heart: "...just laughter and gladness" Beautiful notes, straight up song sex.
I've also been rather partial to the strings section in The Wizard and I starting after "Held in such high esteem..."
1. Like FingerLakesSinger said, the leads usually do both shows. After all, it is their job to perform!
2. Behind the Emerald curtain is a nice treat. You'll see some really neat costumes and props up close. The guys that lead the presentation are members of the Wicked ensemble. They'll talk about their experience with the show and answer any and all Wicked/Broadway questions.
Shindle would be an interesting choice. She's already survived a role that required singing her tonsils out.

It would be nice if they did (I love how they changed the end of The Life I Never Led). But it costs a lot of money. I think they have to pay the actors something like a week's salary per recording session.
