This show does not need critics at all. It did not need the Olivers it got. The fact its got both . Means prices will remain high. NYT has already reviewed the London Production

Aladdin was very lacklustre. The Cave Of Wonders was nice and the genie was good and the Jasmine was talented. But the whole show just felt kind of boring and not very well done. The sets and costumes were kind of underdeveloped. Lots of the songs felt like after thoughts. And the direction was sloppy. The book was problematic. I give it a c- In comparison Mary Poppins was an A-
