I saw the play with Indina Menzel off broadway called Skintight and absolutely loved it. Other than that though I’ve only seen broadway and tours (community theater too but ya know)

Legally blonde is a favorite of mine too! It was such so well done show. Some of the best I’ve seen though are Dear Evan Hansen, Hadestown, Waitress. I also had a great expiernce at Frozen and the Prom. I saw Phantom for the first time two weeks ago and loved it. The cast wasn’t the strongest but I loved the show itself, very beautiful. The music is a little repetitive but I still loved it!

Im curious to know everyones opinions on their favorite show and the best show theyve seen. Because Ive seen some shows that have become my favorite but I know theyre not the best musicals ever. For example Mean Girls. But the best shows Ive seen are usually my favorite too but theyre truly good musicals like Wicked, Once on this island, etc. Wondering what everyone else thinks !

I love the cast album. Seeing and hearing it live is more powerful (obviously) but I still think the cast album is excellent. The music is just absolutely beautiful and the lyrics are so well thought out. One of the better scores I’ve ever heard. It was a true experience to life through this show and hearing the songs for the first time as they performed them. I also especially love ‘Way Down Hadestown’ I think André De Shields and Amber Grey really shine in this song. (Wait for me rep

Kinky boots did a good bit of student casting and I don’t think it always paid off. I saw David Cook as Charlie last year and even though I was surprised that he was better than I expected, he still wasn’t good. He was vocally okay and clearly not a broadway actor. However people I’ve spoken to and see online all loved Brandon Urie. But I do think Todrick as Ogie is an odd choice. I also had no idea Noah Galvin just did the role of Ogie which I also don’t see fitting. Did anyone see Noah while h

I hope it will only do good for the show. I really like frozen and I loved the broadway production. I of course love Aladdin and The Lion King movies but I didn’t like the broadway productions at all. Frozen is the best Disney musical on broadway in my opinion so I hope ittl have a very long life and the movie will only help it!

I agree. Staging and scene design were the best part. I was disappointed with the score greatly. I’m glad I saw it now so I’ll never have to see it again.

I just got out of the Lion King and I am beyond disappointed. It was the worst broadway show Ive ever seen. The only thing it had going for it for me was the staging and scene design. And not even all of that was good. ACT 1 finale (Hakuna Matata) was absolutely awful and the definition of boring I cannot believe that is how act 1 ended. Same for Can you feel the love tonight, that was very bland and boring. Does anyone else not like it??? I was so excited to see it and I hate it was awful
