They have done 16 illegal productions from the MTI catalogue, not to mention any other non MTI shows. I looked at their facebook page and they also helmed illegal productions of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and The Greatest Showman. What do you guys think of this?
I think we are going to do OOTI JR, because it would be cool to help educate students on how to perform with a round stage. We were just talking about it and we will probably base the set off of the revival.
We are putting on a production for grades 1-5. We have a couple of choices so far. Our expected turn out is 15-25. A shorter show would be ideal. Here are the choices we have so far, please recommend more!

Here are some recommendations to get you away from Hamilton.
- Waitress, Sara Bareilles wrote and starred in it. Jenna is abused by her husband, to her the only way out is baking.
- Ragtime, About 3 groups in the early 1900s, The citizens of Harlem, Immigrants, and the rich white people. Listen to Wheels of a Dream, Make them hear you, Crime of the century, and Ragtime.
- Once on this Island- An adaptation of "The Little Mermaid". I would recommend the revival r
I feel like although Sierra has massive talent, Maria should be played by a Puerto Rican. Westside story is literally all about Race. There are many other actresses that could have played the role. She herself said that her playing Maria was "wrong" so why do it again? In order to tell the story of West Side Story properly, Maria needs to be of the proper descent. It doesn't matter if it's a concert. That's even more of a reason to cast proper race because many people wi
Look at the jr musicals on mti for a cheaper cost. You can also do the TYA shows for cheaper. Look at pioneer drama service for cheap shows and broadway licensing's jv collection (I really recommend Emma a pop musical, it is a very fun show and has songs that all the kids would know!) Even if you aren't paying for admission you have to pay because you could get sued. When they come to a decision you should tell us lol
I don't think it will, Bmc has a giant fan base but if you think about it only a small percent of those fans (12-18 year olds) will get to see it, we already have enough musicals about teen angst (deh, freaky friday, ntn kinda, school of rock, etc.) Anyways after the small percent of the fan base sees it I don't think many others will. It's probably because I'm biased but I really hate bmc. It just seems stupid.
I watched the videos of their covers and I wasn't expecting anything more. Their voices seem ok but not great, but it's a teen drama what else should I expect lol. The girl who plays veronicaa (camillai think?) had a great voice though not star quality but surprising
ok but does margaritaville even have a plot what is it? It's so bad (from what i've seen) lol It just looks like people partying and if thats not the worst musical idk what is...
