Upcoming Waitress cast replacements? May 9

Replacements have been in my mind lately as I’d like to see the show again. I can’t help but imagine that we’d hear something soon about the replacement for Katharine McPhee as she is leaving in a little over a month (given she doesn’t extend)

“Listen” from Dreamgirls comes to mind for me

I feel like that it’s pretty much between a Ethan Slater and Harry Hadden-Paton. I’m persoanlly rooting for Ethan Slater to win

In comparison, I got my tickets for the National Tour of “Hamilton” in Cleveland after 48 shows sold out within four hours, the tickets showing upat my doorstep seven

I’m still hoping for one but I’ve definitely lowered my hopes of getting one, which is a shame as i loved the music and the cast

6 weeks just seems such a short period of time to begin with, it doesn't really make sense to add a few more weeks later. If it were for a few months, then sure, but only 42 performances is such a specific chunk of time, it just makes me think that is it."
EthelMae said: "Thx for the input, CPannullo! Don't know what to do. It's been sold out on Telecharge, of course, for this "last" performance but suddenly, just now, 1 last row Balcony seat came up! I would grab it (I have seen it many times) but only if this is indeed the last show! Maybe I'll just grab it!"
I’d grab it! Even if it isn’t the last performance and they release more tickets later down the road, you still get to see Bet

I feel like it’s not going to close then. I bought tickets for that night but i just have a feeling that towards the end of Bernadette’s run that they’ll announce an extension. But also, if the show were to close on August 25, they could use props, sets, etc for the touring version

If it is to come back to broadway next year, what would we say the chances are of Amber Riley coming back to reprise her role? I’d love to see her in this show

Tell us your favorite and least favorite shows, and we'll be able to better answer!"
I’d say my favorite shows are Waitress, Dear Evan Hansen, A Chorus Line, and Funny Girl. My least favorite I’d say are Avenue Q and believe it or not, The Lion King
Call_me_jorge said: "Why can’t you do both? Maybe try a two show day"
I could but I’m not a fan of doing that because i feel like after seeing the second show you’ve forgot the first show you’ve seen. I like to process/reflect the show I’ve seen throughout the day/night. Also i live on Long Island, so i travel to the city seeing shows throughout the year

I have to agree with this. I’d persoanlly rather like to see someone like Lea Michele in this as I am a fan of hers. I also wonder if someone like Sierra Boggess or Phillipa Soo would be able to play the part
