FINALLY!!!! Downloaded and am never going to sleep hahaha! They dropped a Let It Go video too, and I love it! How Caissie Levy didn't get a Tony nomination is beyond me. That girl is a gift from god. She could sing the freaking dictionary and I'd pay to hear it.

I saw it in Denver last month and loved it! I didn't know the Aladdin changed right before so I can't really compare actors, but the guy who was in last month was great! That said, the genie steals the show anyway so I say go for it! It was a blast!&nbs
If you still have your Playbills you could bring each show's with you, just so it's obvious you actually saw the show and weren't just crashing for autographs. I would hope most actors would smile and sign, it's a clever idea in my opinion :) Good luck!

It's about embracing yourself, your powers and abilities, and not letting those who take any issue with who you are constrain you or what you can do. Obviously, in terms of Frozen's plot, the show needs to end with Elsa unthawing Arendelle—that just makes sense. But on a basic level, unthawing Arendelle involves Elsa backtracking on things

Concluding the story with a reprise of a song about empowerment, autonomy, and self-worth literally after Elsa UNFREEZES Arendelle (AKA, undoes the action that displayed her full powers) makes no sense. And it proved to me that this wasn't intended to be a good artistic/theatrical venture, but just commercial, tourist-oriented garbage."
What do you mean by this statement, I'm a little confused? She freeze
Wow, tell us how you really feel. Why are you such a bummer?! Do you live in Denver? Because I do and it did just fine here thank you very much. I saw it four times and it was a packed house every time... with more than 1,000 additional seats than the St. James by the way. Everyone I knew that saw it really liked it and was thoroughly entertained. Maybe you should quit being such a snob and be a better human.
RippedMan said: "Agreed with what you said, but it's directed by a man and co-written by a man... so.... but yes, I agree to your point. And I don't think it's going to "fail," but just might not be the giant hit people were expecting. It is still making tons of money, but I think the qualms come in the fact that maybe Disney over-saturated the market. I mean, when is the last time you saw Aladdin? So, I could see why that would be popular, or The Lion King for

This was a good movie but it was no "Beauty And The Beast" or "Lion King" IMO. I did not say Disney does not belong on Broadway, I just think they seem to feel any movie they make can be a Broadway show. (exp. Little Mermaid". I also sai

I have a novel idea for Disney, how about trying to write original show for Broadway instead of everything being from one of their movies. Also, I would love to have more parents introduce their children to Broadway theater with something besides a Disney show."
I haven't seen anything other than Frozen because of where I live, so I really can't judge... that said I really wanted Caissie Levy and Patti Murin to get nominations. They are amazingly talented, but also are just really nice, genuine, respectful people who have done their time and give outstanding performances... especially together. Like I said, I can't judge them against the other shows so I'm committing to be a grown up starting tomorrow. Until then, I appreciate a threa
I want to see Caissie Levy do "Monster" from Frozen. I think they'll want to feature a new song written for the musical, especially since they got a nomination for original score, and that one has certainly been the most popular. Although they'll probably do a medley or a song that features more of the cast. I definitely don't think they'll do Let It Go.
Since I live in Denver I haven't seen any of the other nominations for best musical, so I'

Posting a comment to follow the thread. I totally agree with you, I'd like to see them both nominated.

Could Frozen be better overall, sure- but there are plenty of other highlights throughout. I can understand being disappointed but imo Caisse’s vocals on the song far surpass the split second dress change anyway."
Haha, plus it's a little ironic getting all hung up on "Let It Go"... I mean it's

Oh whew! I pictured you standing up at the conclusion and shouting your comment, which would be totally inappropriate. Glad to hear that was a misunderstanding! Expressing disappointment during intermission is totally different, as long as the actors can
I remembered another tech problem I saw with Frozen in Denver. On opening night there was a glitch with the system that controls the set and about half of the bedroom set didn't come out. A staffer made an announcement over the loud speaker that there was a technical problem and they needed to stop the show. They closed the curtains and it took about 2-3 minutes, which was filled with the producer coming out and apologizing and explaining it was their first time in front of a live audienc

I'm sorry but this is so rude. There is only one person on the stage, so anything yelled sounds like it's directed at her. Caissie is a damn saint, both on and off stage, and no one should be yelling at her. There is absolutely no hiding in that song, anything that goes wrong an

Yep, as they would deserve. Hamilton is the perfect example of an ensemble that should be able to say that. If a show wins best musical the actors can say they are part of the Tony winning "Hamilton". I don't think it

Couldn't it go to the musical and not each individual? So a musical could win the award, like it would best musical, but it would be specifically for ensemble recognition? Each member wouldn't get Tony billing, but the musi
