Guess I'm in the minority but I dont like the cover, when I first saw it I thought I was a fan design, maybe for a future high school production. Glad to know it's just a temporary change

She says all people should be treated equally and with respect. I don't see how that would be considered "political" except for the fact that everything seems to get politicized today, the title of the article seemed somewhat clickbaitish. Betty has as much right as anyone to express the values she believes our country should stand for, I agree with what she said, haven't gotten to see her in a show since Triumph of Love, but hope one day to have the privilege.

Too many people think being on their cell phone at the theater or when seeing a movie is not a big deal, granted I don't think most people see it that way, but a large enough group do to cause audiences to have a bad experience. I was sitting about 5 rows back from a woman who took out her phone during several numbers in Act 1 of Aladdin and started filming them, I was kind of surprised that no one sitting next to her or directly behind her told her to put it away, if for no other reason than he

As for Ben, he is the best Phantom I’ve seen. Michael can’t be beat, Hugh was amazing but Ben combines the 2 into the perfect Phantom."
Perfection.

Wow, that is very strong praise for Ben Crawford, I've seen a lot of Phantoms as well on Broadway, London and tour, my personal favorite was Howard McGillin, but I certainly hope Crawford stays with the show, especially after such a glowing review.

Thanks for the info, makes sense as far as announcing a new lead closer to start date, I hope Ben stays with the show, I've heard only good things about his performance. Taking my boyfriend to see it in early November, it will be his first show to see on Broadway, it was mine too back in 88 when I was 6.
looks like Jay Armstrong Johnson will play his final performances as Raoul this September. Seeing the show in November, any word on who is taking over?
As stated in an earlier post, this is common practice at comedy shows, we went though this when he came to Houston. Yes, its "on Broadway" but its still his comedy tour
Have an NYC trip scheduled for early November, seeing Hadestown, Phantom and Moulin Rouge, I'd love to see this too if it's still open

The revival cast recording of Tanz Der Vampire is excellent. I think the original Austrian recording of Phantom is overall the best recording of the show, and nearly complete! I have the Japanese, Canadian, Mexican, Korean, and Original recording of Phantom and listen to the Austrian most often. For Wildhorn fans, the German Dracula album is great. I have the Korean Jekyll and Hyde, and its very well sung. There is a Rocky Horror album that includes numbers from diffrent productions from around

If anyone who posts items on ebay wants to sell a playbill(s) from Jekyll and Hyde with Robert Cuccioli in excellent condition or a program I'd buy them.

I have seen the show on Broadway many times and I have never had anything but positive experiences with the cast. I would just caution you regarding two things: at the Majestic the cast does not always use the stage door behind the theatre, sometimes they use the one on the front side of the theatre, particularly when they want to leave quickly, also on Saturday nights the cast has a tradition of having drinks in the “Raoul Bar” which is located in the dressing room of the actor who plays Raoul

Thanks for posting the demo. I am disappointed that the reading you refer to was not able to go forward. From interviews I remember reading during the Broadway run of Dance with Jim Steinman one could clearly understand that he was very dissatisfied with the way the show had been altered and I think it is unfortunate that he has not been able/willing to play a more active role in helping to see that his original vision is presented in a major English speaking production. Although I loved the se

You are right, it was expensive. My friend and I went on a sat night and paid 100 euro each. We were seated in the middle of what we refer to as the orchestra section of the theatre, our seats were great and because I liked the show so much I don’t regret spending the money to see it. Actually I spent a lot more considering I also bought a program, poster, double CD of the 2009 revival recording, and a t shirt. I would love the version that I saw to be presented someday in the US; I don’t think

I recently attended a performance of Tanz Der Vampire at the Raimund Theatre in Vienna. I had seen the American version Dance of the Vampires a few times during its short run on Broadway; I have to say the production at the Raimund is far superior to the American in every way. Jim Steinman’s score is fantastic, for me one of the major problems of the American version was the fact that the music was generally very dramatic and sweeping but the book was written almost like a Mel Brooks spoof with
