Looks like the nest flew up atop the building to the right. I do like the unification with the logo revamp, but I also liked the elegance of the old logo because it made it feel less like a method to try to milk even more money out of the series
Broadway Lotteries Question Sep 2

I’ve won Aladdin, and I was front row mezz all the way on the left
Alrighty, after doing some contemplation I think I am going to treat myself to this one - any chance that this would be on TKTS September 6th-8th, or should I try to cram it in this Saturday?
Next for the Longacre! Aug 12

This show definitely has a wider audience at least. Be More Chill really wasn’t appropriate for anyone under 13 I’d say, but Percy Jackson has been ready by elementary level kids for years. I read the series when I was 10, and now I’m sixteen and I would totally still see the musical. I know someone who’s 22 and still loves the book, I’m sure she would see the musical too.

It’s coming."
I follow their twitter as well, and the past three days have seen some tweets from the cast/musical itself that lead me to believe they’re certainly not done yet. Longacre seems probable (hadestown nu
The reviews of this seem all around very mixed. I'd love to see Jake in something on Broadway but I'm wondering if I should wait for him to do another show (this will almost certainly not be his last show on Broadway) or go see this one. I'm only debating this because I'm 16 and I'd like to see a show not just for the actor. I do enjoy plays though - should I just go for it and get a ticket?
Best stage door experiences have been with shows that are either for shows that are meant for smaller kids or shows that are not as family-friendly (BoM, Aladdin, Groundhog Day, Tootsie, Spongebob,TPTGW). People can control themselves and more actors seem to come out because the whole experience is a lot less overwhelming.
Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, and Be More Chill were absolute disasters. Pushing, shoving, complaining when people weren't coming out, fol
I went to both last year, and both were phenomenal experiences, but BroadwayCon is definitely my pick. They have the vendors there, and then they have amazing panels and competitions and performances. I've been really lucky with the autographs/photographs each year I've gone, and I never felt like I missed out on seeing anyone since you can literally still see the actors in person even if you're not directly talking to them. I totally understand the high prices at the flea for aut
At almost every show I've been to that is family-friendly, I've had bad experiences with little kids and their horrible parents in the audience. For every well-behaved child, there are at least 7 kids that are a disaster.
I personally wouldn't spend any amount of money on an experience like theatre until I was sure my kid would enjoy it and have some sort of memory.
I didn't even go to a Broadway show until I was 14 (two years ago) simply because

To add to my above message - my friend won the lottery for tonight after 1 standby and ended up with left mezz row G

Orch Row V - seats 19 and 21. Seems far back but it was a perfect view and super roomy. It seemed like most of my area was lotto winners, and I’m sure the mezz was full of winners too

I just saw the show on Tuesday from a lottery win. There must have been at least 200 people in the lottery line, but overall the theater seemed full which was nice to see since it was just a Tuesday night. The audience was really into the show and I really enjoyed it. It was funny and had a great book. Songs/choreo didn’t stand out, but it worked for the show. I think with this wave of closings their profits should be able to stay afloat. The show can’t possibly cost a whole lot to run compared
Has anyone recognized actors anywhere but a show? Jul 26

I’ve run into Daveed Diggs and Joe Iconis on the street in NYC when I was walking to a theater to see a show. One time I was with my mom and we were eating in a random greek diner one night of BroadwayCon and we keep looking over at this man sitting at another table because he looks super familiar. We head back to BroadwayCon to see the Charlie Brown reunion panel and the same guy is up on stage, and we realize it’s Roger Bart
I'm bumping this - has anyone recently won the lottery, and how are the seats? I just won for tomorrow night's performance, but I've already seen the show from last row balc seats
Just like any lottery, it's luck. It's certainly harder to win those lottos because you can enter a week in advance and you can check the boxes for extra entries, so I'm sure there are tons of people in for each show. I've won Kinky Boots and Groundhog Day both through there, but nothing else. As for other lottos, I've won Aladdin, War Paint, Beautiful, The Band's Visit, School of Rock, DEH, CATCF, SpongeBob, and Cats.
I just saw Kiss Me Kate yesterday and absolutely loved it. I would recommend that hands down. The legroom was awful in the rear mezz (for me, someone who's five foot nine), but there was adequate room in between seats so I was able to straddle the seat in front of me and not bother the people next to me.
Debating between seeing this or The Ferryman. Uranowitz is one of my favorite actors and I've met him twice but have yet to see him perform. I also love Adam Driver just from being a Star Wars fan. I get that The Ferryman may be the superior show, but I think I might rather see this one for the cast. Any suggestions? (I'm a 16-year-old girl and I'm going to see either one with my dad)
I'll miss this show so much. I won the lottery last April and I had never listened to it prior to seeing it just because I had no interest. It was the most lively, heartfelt show I've seen and it had such a great meaning. And it's the only show I've seen twice. I just wish I had discovered it sooner.
