Saw the mantinee here in Chicago today. First time seeing it. Been a fan since the beginning but funds were always an issue. I live in Boston. It was incredible. Worth the wait and it deserves all the hype. So happy that i finally got to see it

I had one of these seats on Saturday. It was fine for the most part. I was limited on left side. I felt like I didn’t miss much except for one part at the end.

All visual, no meat."
For the most part I agree with this. There is “meat” is the second half. Actually a lot of meat. The movie didn’t have a lot of meat either thought

Just got out of the matinee. For the most part I absolutely loved loved it. The second act is solid. The first part needs a little cutting but this has potential to be huge. It just doesn’t need to be 3 hours long hahah. Couple of song choices need to be changed. I really couldn’t believe this was the 4th show it looked super polished. Go see it if you can it’s wonderful.

I don’t know. I really enjoyed it and I’m not a teenage Stan. It’s not the best musical I’ve ever seen but it was a fun night out.

Hello Dolly. I’m not a fan of the music and usually prefer the smaller shows. This why I love theater so much something for everyone. I’ll add RENT too for the same reason. Really really don’t like the music and the story line just never did it for me.

What a pain but I understand things happen. I feel so bad for people who have planned trips around this. I’m super fortunate because I live around the corner from the theater so picking a new date and time is a non issue.
Hopefully, this is the only issue this production has and it will be worth the wait.

Oh man I hope so. That was my favorite performance of the night by far.

I did not care for The Bands Visit.
I do tend to like the non flashy musicals but even for me this was too slow. At least Mean Girls didn’t put me to sleep.

I would return your ticket then. It’s all about feelings you will be absolutely miserable
The story is very strong like everyone else has said. There is a lot going on but it flows very smoothly. Going to have to agree that the side characters are weak expecially the Dad but it didn’t ruin the show. Not giving anything way but there was a standing ovation in act 2 and omg so deserved. Like holy ****.
In conclusion if you have the chance go see it.

I sat in this row last month and honestly you can do better. These are 40 dollar tickets. I paid a little over 100 for these seats because of the dress circle above you, you miss some stuff.

Is the box office open or did you buy online?"
I bought them online."
A shame that you had to waste all that money on fees when you are so close to the theater."
