King Kong on Broadway Aug 5

this will be WORSE than spiderman, IMO. I don't think it'll last 6 months. I will be impressed if they even get this to open. my out of the box prediction early this year was King Kong won't have enough ticket sales to open.
I do think they will need someone with name recognition after McPhee leaves..show has been struggling a bit as of late and as good as the understudy maybe, this show needs someone they can market. I do believe show could be coming to an end on broadway shortly and hopefully sara will close the show out just like Bette is doing with Hello Dolly.

Thank you for your feedback. :) I have heard from others who have met her she's not the most friendly of people. I hope your daughter enjoyed the experience, regardless.
"
thank you. she had an awesome experience seeing her live!&n

HELLO DOLLY - CHICAGO - Presale Jun 23

Hello. I noticed Hello Dolly in Chicago is on a presale. I would love to see the show! Does anyone happen to know what the presale code is?
The original stated reason was the high demand for tickets; it would be easier and more efficient if ticket buyers simply received the "best available" tickets.
However, since they hold back tickets in addition to the Friday Forty, and they restrict the number of people who can purchase tickets at a time, it is

I am assuming you have Orchestra for that price? If so. I think that is one of the best seats in the house. They are refundable? If so. Keep them. And can always get a refund closer to show if you find cheaper seats. They won’t be better than those though.

you are right...in that sense, it is a primary market since the tickets come directly from the shows...they are not being resold. even though stubhub in itself is a secondary market, those tickets, are primary tickets :) i stand corrected.

I am almost positive, any sales from a secondary market would count towards the weekly gross. Hence some shows are well above their potential gross. whereas, some shows are well
I mean, i still consider it the secondary market. since its not sold on the primary. I think TKTS is a secondary market too..even though tickets come from the box office. I have a couple theories why the theater would want to use Stubhub as marketplace to sell tickets

However, when you do make a listing, it will fall off at a certain point close to the show unless you have the tickets uploaded or dropped off at the pickup office. And a lot of times those crazy priced ones are just sellers seeing if people will be dumb enough to buy it.

almost every show, the producer (or whomever). sets aside some of the prime center orchestra seats and posts on Stubhub, often for 2-4x list price of ticket. then within a week of the show...sometimes same day. sometimes 3 days before, etc..it can vary. tickets are pulled off Stubhub and will hit the ticketmaster or telecharge map at usually the premium price of the ticket. this is

Just checked various dates on StubHub and the amount of tickets they have for each performance is hilariously ambitious, especially as regular priced tickets in various areasare available at Tele-Charge. Looking at the crazy prices on StubHub, you'd think those performances were completely sold-out
TBone said: "I just bought two tickets for tonight on Stubhub. They are mobile tickets only - will I have a problem scanning the barcodes on my phone to get in? I've never seen anyone scan tickets on their phones to get in. Any help would be appreciated."
Mobile tickets are just that. You pull the tickets up on your phone and they will scan at the theater.
There is a shot from an orchestra partial view seat."
Thanks...that doesnt seem too bad at all especially for the discount the theater is offering for partial view seats. id much rather sit there then way up in the balcony.
