STRAIGHT WHITE MEN Rush Jul 24
2018, 04:23:22 PM
I did student rush last Saturday (7/21) and got there a few minutes before they went on sale. There were only about eight of us, and I got center orchestra Q for $25!
I've asked for a Playbill at box offices a bunch of times and have never had a problem. The only times I didn't get one was if they didn't have any in the box office and I was just told to come back during the show. I just stay out of the theaters when there's about an hour until a show starts if I'm not buying a ticket.
Carousel rush Jul 1

I went on Thurs. 6/21 and was able to get a right side box seat at around 4:30 PM. No Renee Fleming, but I had the box to myself! It should be fairly easy to get tickets.
HEAD OVER HEELS Previews Jun 29

This one’s definitely a bit weird one! Like with most jukebox musicals, it was pretty obvious where songs where just shoved in. The story is definitely weak, but the lights and dancing were both enough to distract me from it! Since it’s still early in previews, the audience is probably a lot of friends and family. If you’ve gone recently, was there a lot of whooping and hollering? I wouldn’t have minded it too much except the people next to me were singing along and taking photos.

OP, I’m glad you had so much lined up! If you don’t mind me asking, how was Dear Evan Hansen standing room? (Hopefully not as tall of a wall as the Broadhurst, ha)

I couldn’t agree more. Excuse my rambling, but a LOT happened this Friday. The woman next to me put her bare feet up on the seat in front of her (why??) and various people up in the balcony were taking flash photos and snapchatting the show. To be honest, the kids’ babbling through the show was the least of my problems there... and for bonus points, half of the people around me left before curtain call :’). The ushers were chatting about how they needed more (ushers) so they could really enforce

Lobby Hero Student Rush Apr 6
2018, 07:08:50 PM
I went this Wednesday for the matinee. Got there a few minutes until one/when they sell student access and I was 8-ish people back. I managed to get center orchestra J for $25, and I believe most people behind me also got tickets.
2018 Easter Bonnet Collections Apr 5
2018, 09:18:33 PM
They weren’t offering anything at Lobby Hero yesterday, and no buckets. There was nothing at Angels when I went either, though it may have been because it was very early on in the collection season (maybe two days in?)
I rushed on Saturday (March 10)! I got there at about 7:30 AM and was 4 people back. The line got pretty long by 10, was it the first two show day? I got orchestra left rows J/K seats 19/21. They were marked partial view but you only miss a couple of scenes in the first part (a few of which were Nathan Lane's, if that matters).
