How many shows have you seen this year? Six, plus one national tour Show you liked/loved the most? Carousel, very unpopular opinion on here, but I attended the final performance and was mesmerized by Jessie Mueller and Lindsay Mendez. The emotion was real and raw and made up for the problems that have already been addressed on here Show you liked least/hated most? Spongebob Squarepants, heard many good things ab
Recently saw the tour in Philadelphia. Although I never saw the Broadway production, I thought the tour was very well done. I know for a fact is that Mike Teavee/Mrs. Teavee's song in act one was changed. Certain parts are still the same from the original song, but it has a new name and a different melody. Willy Wonka's factory has a new exterior color. It's more of a gold color and looked very nice. Like I said the cast was strong, and Noah Weisberg was fabulous. One mishap

Now that Renee is gone, I’m aware that her Understudy, Amy Justman is on for one performance, who will it be for the remainder of the run? Rosena?

My brother’s first broadway show is gonna be the Spongebob matinee on August 4th, and was really hoping that he would see Ethan and the whole cast. Tried explaining that matinees are difficult for no absences, but that we’d hope for the best. Anybody know of any known absences that weekend?
I believe that somebody said this earlier, but a highlight of the album for me was the stripped down version of Dim All the Lights. It was really, really beautiful and I believe, did the song justice.

the piano sounds like it does the "here i am, on my own again""
No, you’re exactly right. I thought for a second that it had turned into an On My Honor Reprise

I don’t know about a physical CD or Amazon, but the album is definitely on Spotify and I’m almost positive I saw cast members posting pictures of the album on Apple Music. Maybe look up a certain cast member’s name?

I agree with most posters on the board that the show as a whole was pretty “meh,” but I must admit that the vocals were outstanding and I’m glad that it was memorialized in this album (much like the Carousel revival, bad production, amazing vocals)

I’m sure that this has been answered before, but how many stamps should I put on a SASE for a playbill? Thanks!

Was expecting a Tina Fey win, but in all honesty both shows are pretty similar to both of their respective movies

I saw Dolly on Saturday and Michael Hartung as Barnaby and Jessica Sheridan as Ernestina were simply fabulous! Didn’t realize that they were understudies until after the show!
