I recently joined the Carrie fandom, so I was psyched when this was announced, but I was probably a little too excited because I just watched the videos and I'm pretty disappointed. I'll still watch the episode, but I hope no watchers get a solid opinion on the show from this episode cause that might not be the best.
I dunno, I kinda want to see Sutton Foster play the part, but then again she's not really that kind of person. I just want to see Sutton on Broadway again
Just wondering, has anyone gotten anyone gotten anything back from Andrew Keenan-Bolger?I sent him somethinga couple months ago and he still haven't sent anything back. (This may have been covered earlier-sorry I didn't read all 190 pages)
What are some books that you've always wanted to seea musical made out of? It may sound weird, but I've always wanted to see the book The Outsiders turned into one. Kinda like a combination of Grease, Newsies, and West Side Story. Anyway curious what y'all think.
(Update: I was thinking about this again, andi realized another book that could be comedy gold if transferred correctly: Jane Austen's Emma.)
I DO NOT like Marius at all, he's just an annoying character. Favorites include Gertrude (Seussical) Jessie Tuck (Tuck Everlasting) Crutchie (Newsies) and the Mad Hatter (Wonderland)
Definitially Tuck Everlasting! The cast, music, it was all amazing! Other than that, I think [Title of Show] closed pretty quickly and was not given enough appreciation.
My family loves the movie Groundhog Day, and my mom wants to see the show now. Even from the music I can tell it's not gonna be as appropriate as the movie. I'm 13, my sisters are 23, 15, and 8, and my brother is almost 20. Just wondering how appropriate would it be and who should we bring. Thanks!
If you're looking for something extremely moving, I'd go with Come From Away which along with an incredible cast and soundtrack, will make you cry and laugh, and sometimes at the same time.
If you want something more "just for entertainment-y", while it has been overlooked Anastasia also has an amazing score accompanied by a fantastic cast.
The first person that popped into my head was Ben Fankhauser for Hercules. I would also venture to say Andrew Keenan-Bolger as Phil? (sorry I'm going all Newsies)
