I LOVED it!! But I think I love the first one more. Lily James, however, has always been a delight to watch so I loved that she was in this one. One thing has been bothering me though:
I thought Harry was supposed to be Headbanger Harry? Some sort of big badass rockstar? And now he’s a desperate, awkward virgin? Well, ok then.
The movie did have some plot holes and for me, some head scratcher moments. All in all, though, it was an enjoyable, fluffy, and heartfelt sequel and I

A local (very white) private school did “Once on This Island” a couple years ago and they had maybe two black people in the cast. They had to change the entire dynamic and made it “rich and poor” instead of “dark and light skinned.” LOL, totally not saying that it’s wrong for high schools to do OOTI. It’s just certain high schools shouldn’t... Like, know what you’re working with, people...
On the SITPWG 2017 revival cast recording during “Sunday,” I love Jake Gyllenhaal’s way of singing the “bum bum bum”s. It’s so calming and beautiful.
The Phantom of the Opera at Royal Albert Hall cast recording- During “Masquerade,” the chorus sings “Stop and stare at the sea of smiles around you” and forgive me, I don’t know who does it (if it’s an ensemble member or if it’s Andre or Firmin) but whoever.

Someone last year told me that they saw Miss Saigon in the 90s, and that it was now the longest running show of all time. On a family trip to the city a couple of years ago, my cousins were DYING to see Mary Poppins, because they had seen it the last time they were there. I guess I understand the confusion, but it drives me crazy."

I’m sorry but Patti Murin looks way too old to be playing Anna. I’ve never seen her perform as her before and it truly looks weird and wrong.
It’s a tad early but... Post your pics and thoughts here!! I feel like Hailey Kilgore’s dress will be killer.

During Music of the Night, the guy next to me was singing along super loudly during the whole song. Never wanted to sock someone in the throat more than I have that day.

I miss Jeremy Jordan He belongs on the stage and I know he’s said before that he misses it. He’s good on TV and such but musical theatre is what he does best. I wish he’d come back to his roots sometime in the near future!

Yeah I was just about to say this! I much prefer the design of the old Pride Playbills. I liked how it used to be a clear representation of the Pride flag.
Maybe this is wrong but I’ve always wanted to see Tituss Burgess as Jefferson/Lafayette. He has the range, just not sure if he can rap! And after seeing this vid on Kimmy Schmidt, I think it’d be hilarious if he were to actually ever do it.
