I dont get why theyre changing so much of the lyrics and adding so many lyrics/lines in!! Theyre changing stuff that doesnt have anything to do with profanity or anything inappropriate. Just unnecessary, extra crap. DO THE SHOW AS WRITTEN!!!
Sincerely Werk! said: ""Revenge Party" is the worst song in the Mean Girls soundtrack. Grey Henson is funny in it but the rest of the song is pretty basic. Also it REALLY shows how bad some of the lyrics are ("It's a revenge party, a party with revenge is what it's like".... seriously?)."
Mean Girls has some pretty lazy lyrics. Like, “And if you treat me bad, I’ll say you’re bad” or “Imagine a party with

Ok here I go: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! this one hurts. This show is so genius and beautiful. Very sad to see it go. I wish all the cast and crew the best as they close out this powerhouse of a show.

Oh my goodness, yes. I wish for nothing less.

Wow, not only are they going to change lines and a song (“Take It From an Old Ma’am” is the altered version according to Waitress’ Instagram) but they’ll have to replace the light up Joe’s Diner sign that hangs above the set. Not to mention, the shirt that they sell at the merch stand that says “Joe’s Pie Diner.”
I’m not against it. It just seems like a lot of unnecessary work and alterations. Why do they need to go through all this trouble? Do they really need a “name” that bad?

I’ve been waiting for a new Eliza!! Denee will be divine! The role really does suit her so well.
I agree with a previous poster that King Kong is a little confusing to look at. I get what they were going for but it just doesn’t deliver. Very underwhelming.

Did we need Pearce Bronson to sound horrible? Did we we need an awful Crowe in Les Miz? We did not. Camila Cabello is a TERRIBLE actress. So they're wrong."
Has she acted before?"
Nope. Not unless you count music videos or a voice over role on Barbie’s Drea

I LOVED it!! But I think I love the first one more. Lily James, however, has always been a delight to watch so I loved that she was in this one. One thing has been bothering me though:
I thought Harry was supposed to be Headbanger Harry? Some sort of big badass rockstar? And now he’s a desperate, awkward virgin? Well, ok then.
The movie did have some plot holes and for me, some head scratcher moments. All in all, though, it was an enjoyable, fluffy, and heartfelt sequel and I

A local (very white) private school did “Once on This Island” a couple years ago and they had maybe two black people in the cast. They had to change the entire dynamic and made it “rich and poor” instead of “dark and light skinned.” LOL, totally not saying that it’s wrong for high schools to do OOTI. It’s just certain high schools shouldn’t... Like, know what you’re working with, people...
On the SITPWG 2017 revival cast recording during “Sunday,” I love Jake Gyllenhaal’s way of singing the “bum bum bum”s. It’s so calming and beautiful.
The Phantom of the Opera at Royal Albert Hall cast recording- During “Masquerade,” the chorus sings “Stop and stare at the sea of smiles around you” and forgive me, I don’t know who does it (if it’s an ensemble member or if it’s Andre or Firmin) but whoever.

Someone last year told me that they saw Miss Saigon in the 90s, and that it was now the longest running show of all time. On a family trip to the city a couple of years ago, my cousins were DYING to see Mary Poppins, because they had seen it the last time they were there. I guess I understand the confusion, but it drives me crazy."

I’ve always found “No One is Alone” and the “Finale (Children Will Listen)” from Into the Woods both really sad.
