northlandfan, you are a very kind soul. I live in Mexico so I always enjoy Flea vicariously through people's posts. I can't think of something specific I want off the top of my head (or, well, I want everything) but if your list isn't full of requests, I'll definitely message you.
I had not thought of GalaPro until now. If they were going through with this, I'd expect (I really want to say 'demand' them at least to adopt something like the smart glasses at the NT; still, I think GalaPro saved them a good deal of time. Smart glasses and other devices would make the line for hearing aids busier

Those are great seats! I've only seen the show at CITS from the

One of my friends won the Book of Mormon lottery on her first week trying.
Have any of you tried the lotteries as an out of town visitor? I have tried a couple times during my travels there, but no luck yet. I always wonder if the non-US postal code hurts my chances.
A stage adaptation of the comedy-drama with music, about a 16-year-old Dublin lad who attempts to escape his troubled home life and impress a coolly enigmatic local beauty by starting a band influenced by the new wave pop sounds of the 1980s, will premiere as part of New York Theatre Workshop's 2019-20 season.Â
I'm trying to buy tickets for the latter part of the run, but the show I'm trying to buy for has "0 seats available". Are they not available yet? Is anyone having the same issues?
Question (especially for after the previews begin):
Does the back of the orchestra –or especifically, the part where the mezzanine overhangs– have a blocked view of Hades' balcony/terrace (the part of the stage with the green door)? Or is it low enough?

None of his shows are successful financially, but they are forever ingrained in the American musical theatre canon and are just technically the best, but just not loved as much. Compared to his counterparts Pasek&paul and Lin who are the Andrew Lloyd Webber’s of this current generation of musical theatre writers and write decent shows that just become way too overrated."
Surprised as well with the lack of Hadestown nominations. I hope that won't affect the Broadway buzz. I'm very happy about the Company nominations. Is Jonathan Bailey a lock?
I think a new city is being added to the national tours: Monterrey, Mexico (6-ish hours south of San Antonio).
They are opening a new venue with the tours of The Illusionists (?), Cinderella, and Chicago, and they are joining the next season with six shows per year through Broadway Across America.
(I'm very jealous 'cause this is NOT my city and it's like 10 hours away by bus).
I'm embarking on my first trip across the pond to see Hadestown at the NT and Company at the Gielgud.
Thanks to this board I've learned some things about the West End, from having to pay for a program to the fact that stagedoors are not as populated (and the activity itself is not as common).
Still, I wish to learn more about it before going there.
Do ushers expect a tip there? Is etiquette more rigid/different than Broadway? Are lotteries e
How many shows have you seen this year? 5 in Broadway (I don't even live in the US : My Fair Lady, Mean Girls, The Band's Visit, Waitress, Anastasia. I also saw Ghost Quartet in Seattle and the Mexican productions of Les Mis, Hello Dolly! and The Last 5 Years.
Show you liked/loved the most? My Fair Lady. I just adore
This is what I do: I put them in a clear sheet protector (like, the plastic ones for binders); I fold it and seal it with masking tape; and then I put a binder clip on top to hang it from there. I don't have a lot of room, so this allows me to switch my faves from week to week. It looks like this:
