Focus and enhance the Max and Elsa subplot as some of those plot point (especially their two songs) are quite dark in retrospect.

Help! I need help finding a play for my college class that has a cast comprised of Four females and One male!
I have a trip planned for the beginning of August. I’m already seeing Cursed Child and My Fair Lady. I’m also seeing the offf broadway run of Be More Chill. I have a third slot open and I’m split between Carousel and OOTI. I’d say Carousel cuz of Lindsey Mendez and Joshua Henry butve been mixed things about the production as a whole. OOTI looks good and it isn’t probably gonna tour. Any other suggestions? (have already seen Bands Visit and Spongebob).

Due to job application and point values for thespian and general curiousity. I have a weird question, Do you count Max Detweiler from sound of music as a major or minor role?
The other problem with removing these songs is that they remove most of Max and Elsa's depth as characters. When they remove these songs, it just makes Elsa a flat bitch and Max a stereotypical sassy gay friend.
I am currently in a production of The Sound Of Music playing Max. I was watching the movie to do further research on the character and found that him and elsa's songs are often cut from productions. Why is that? I find that they play a vital role in the story particularly No Way To Stop It. Having known people who have played these character and seeing it before, I'd say that any of the leads in Falsettos have GOT to be some of the hardest roles to play. As you are almost constantly on stage and have to sing some of the highest notes known to man. Especially Trina lmao.
