Be More Chill Rush Mar 15

Well as to be expected with a line full of entitled mellenials we have last minute line butters. Line started before 730 and and 930 the first and third people in line had extra people walk right up to join them. Of course not really a problem if each buying 1 ticket each but they proceed to take 2 each. Already cringing at sitting through an evening surrounded by an audience of this kind of people.

I was in Row B orch seat 13. Close is great for this show. However the last seat house left there are 2 bits where the actors are cut off and you miss some physical comedy. From those around me in row a b and c seat 9 seams to be full view. 11 and 13 are cut off fir those few parts. The gentleman behind me was rather upset he was not told he wouldnt see things as he bought full price online. The very front row seems fine right to the end as seats stop before the procenium.

I think it has strong chances at winning awards. Its got great performances strong direction and great music funny book. No other currently open musicals are contenders in my opinion. I think The Prom...Hadestown and Tootsie will probably have the strongest chances.

I have to say above all else...kristine Nielson deserves every award we can round up for what she just did. Knowing the amount of work we put in for just a 2 minute audition monologue i am in complete awe of what she pulled off.
This play is wordy..in a good way bit my god words...lots of words...monologues...pages of monologue. I was prepared for a call for a line or momentary pauses and all would have been warranted. But damn it. She had it down. With accent and emotion. Truly re

I wasnt there when box office opened. Happend to be in the area at about 11am and thought id ask if they were doing rush. Its marked partial view. But dame seat I usually get rush for at the Booth. Worth a try later in day. Especially before they announce a

Hadn't heard of this before seeing it on Today Tix. Got a rush seat for the show and so glad I did.
The Cake is a wonderful play. I was a little afraid we were just gonna see a rehash of what we see in the news..baker bad customer good. But the writing is wonderful and not only delves into the struggles and feelings of both sides but also shows different angles from the couple. Of course the added personal connection adds so much more to the story.
I think the writing was t

Betty Buckley is out again? Feb 10

I would love to see Jessica Sheridan take over the role for the next leg. The three times i saw the show on broadway she really got my attention in the ensemble. I think she has a great stage presence and would love to see her dolly!
Hello Dolly is appearing March 2020. So later in season. The article in the star touts Betty Buckley but the official theater announcement offers no star billing.

So Toronto is getting The Bands Visit The Girl From North Country Hello Dolly Anastasia Hamilton
They also market their shows as if they’re of a Broadway or Mirvish caliber, only for patrons to show up to a 99 seat black box. Shady. (To be fair they also use the Randolph which is bigger than their own space, and more downtown.... but never of the same scale as a tour). Do they even pay their actors?"
In the few shows i saw they never post the produced with permission disclaimer no rights holder so i doubt they pay for rights. And if u copy ste

This productoon has nothing to do with the Broadway Production. Lower Ossington theatre has the habit of cheaply restaging shows with broadway staging and choreography but listing new directors and choreographers. They are misleading and

None of them understand their character. They know their lines and where to stand. Theres no emotional depth to them. This is the problem hiring singers who are not actors.

THE CHER SHOW Reviews Jan 11

I'm not sure how you woul do a cast recording as the majority of songs in this show are partial bits of the songs. There is only a handful of full songs performed.
