This is the perfect opportunity this holiday season to discover the famous family Andersen fairy tale, published in 1843 and is considered one of the cornerstones of his work. No ogre, no fairy or witch in this metaphorical fable. Here we are transported into the palace of an emperor who never crossed the limits in, unaware that beyond its mannered gardens exist deep forests yet known to his people. From there comes to him one day the dazzling song of a nightingale he turns to lust. It instructs his servants to bring him. The volatile melodious, symbol of an inaccessible freedom is immediately adored by the monarch and his courtiers ....
