In October 2014, at the initiative of Marylène Nemery, your Cultural Centre offered introductory courses on harp. Every Wednesday afternoon, our ears were lulled by the sounds so melodious. So the idea germinated naturally sweet pleasure to extend this to as many people and it materialized when Maria Palatine that we had programmed the Orgeo church contacted us to tell us about his new project. It is entitled "Zahyee" and consists of five musicians. Escape to an orchestra pit, a large harp begins to jazzy, grooving and dream on texts by poets English, German, French ... with a range of Oriental and African percussion, saxophone, piano, bass and oud, the lute Arab. At the heart of this project, the harp ride her feline elegance through multiple sounds, from one continent to another. In a rare quality, the game harpist and voice of Maria Palatine "prevails, fascinates and values ??the rooms where it occurs" (Bernard Tirtiaux).
Evening opening, a group bertrigeois, born of a crazy idea, Brigade tigs Bertrix, was created in 2011. Initially composed of saxophones, it has now expanded to include new musicians, but especially new instruments with an unlikely mixture that surprising saxophone, electric harp, electric guitar and a bass guitar. The whole gives an amazing and original rock with covers / interpretations of White Stripes, Jeff Buckler, Within Temptation, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc. In short, a list of eclectic pieces to discover.
