Phil Varney has been around theater his entire life. Growing up in Utah, he spent 15 years of his life performing and producing on the community and university level; working with local groups such as The Scera Center for the Arts, The Grassroots Shakespeare Company, and The Utah Valley University Theater Department. Phil's artistic career took a turn when he became part of a delegation to lobby the Utah State Legislature on behalf of Utah Valley University to fund a new performing arts building. From that moment on his stage shifted from the theatrical to the political. After a few years working in Washington DC in both the public and private sector, Phil moved to Prague where he currently resides. He enjoys taking full advantage of the artistic advantages to living in Europe and is excited to join the BWW team.Videos
