In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920's draw to a close, a garish MC welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the Emcee's bawdy songs as wry commentary, Cabaret explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin's natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich.

Using hits composed by the famous Brazilian band Legião Urbana, the story is set in a small town in the countryside, where young Daniel and his class experience the last months of high school. Meanwhile, they begin to discover love in all shapes and sizes, and that growing up is a difficult task.

Conceived and starring the award-winning actor and singer Beto Sargentelli as Elvis Presley, the show is a tribute to one of the greatest world music icons. Unreleased and originally Brazilian, O Rei do Rock - O Musical delves into Elvis' fascinating trajectory, from his first album recording, at the age of 18, until his premature death at 42.

The lyrical season will feature 12 titles, such as Turandot, by Busoni, Gianni Schicchi, by Puccini, Le Comte Ory, by Rossini, among others. The program also includes ballets, cinema and music, and concerts in a year in which São Pedro establishes partnerships with the Cinemateca, the São Paulo Companhia de Dança and guest orchestras.

The show Tarsila, a Brasileira will address Tarsila's life, work and influence on Brazilian culture. With book and lyrics by Anna Toledo and Jose Possi Neto, who also directs, the production has Claudia Raia as the protagonist and producer alongside Jarbas Homem de Mello, who plays Oswald de Andrade.

With dramaturgy and direction by Ze Henrique de Paula and music by Fernanda Maia, the show tells the story of the journalist who fought for the LGBTQIAPN+ cause during the Brazilian military dictatorship.

In its 6th edition the award, which brings together representatives of the digital press and celebrates musical theater in São Paulo City, paid tribute to Claudia Raia for her 40 years of career. Something Rotten! was the most awarded of the night with five.

After 53 years, a new production of the important LGBTQIA+ play The Boys in the Band opens in Sao Paulo, at Teatro Procopio Ferreira. Directed by Ricardo Grasson, the play stars Bruno Narchi, Caio Evangelista, Caio Paduan, Heber Gutierrez, Heitor Garcia, Julio Oliveira, Leonardo Miggiorin, Mateus Ribeiro, Tiago Barbosa and Otavio Martins.

The Money Shot is a perverse and insightful comedy that explores acid humor to create a reflection on ambition, art, status, sex in the North American entertainment industry when narrating the drama of Karen and Steve, movie stars who can no longer achieve great success on the big screen.

The show takes place during a Carnival party, common to all Brazilians. Every year, throughout Carnival and Ash Wednesday, people who have already departed from this plane - but did not die, “became homesick”, as the production explains - can once again walk among the living, in the middle of the crowd and once in costumes, they will not be seen.

The opera will be presented in Portuguese and will feature black artists, such as soprano Marly Montoni and tenors Jean William and Mar Oliveira among the main characters; with Priscila Bomfim in the musical direction and Julianna Santos in the scenic direction. In celebration of Children's Day, there will be a performance on October 12th, at 5pm.
