The most elite young composers Texas has to offer come together for one night to premiere their compositions for all of Austin to hear. These remarkable pieces of music will be performed by your Austin Symphony Orchestra under the baton of ASO Music Director Peter Bay.
The Austin Symphony Orchestra and the Long Center for the Performing Arts are proud to present the 6th Annual Sarah and Ernest Butler Texas Young Composers Concert.
You don’t want to miss this electrifying concert showcasing some of Texas’ talented young composers. Before each piece is performed, you’ll hear what the composer’s thought process was behind their composition. The ASO will then perform their piece live for the first time!
