Reefer Madness (originally made as Tell Your Children) is a 1936–1939 American propaganda exploitation drama drug addiction film, adapted into a musical, revolving around the melodramatic events that ensue when high school students are lured by pushers to try marijuana—from a hit and run accident, to manslaughter, hallucinations, and descent into madness due to marijuana addiction. A remake in 2005 shows an outrageous tongue-in-cheek comedy as Jimmy Harper goes through the struggles of being caught by "public enemy number one!" MARIJUANA.
