Theater of the Stars announced its 2013-2014 season today that includes Theater of the Stars' production of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID, BUDDY: The Buddy Holly Story, the family favorite musical CATS, the classic Broadway musical ANYTHING GOES and DREAMGIRLS starring Jennifer Holliday. The return of the popular STOMP as a season special, will round out the exciting season.

"I am pleased to announce another spectacular season of musical theatre that combines classic, well-loved Broadway musicals with the Southeastern premiere of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID," said Christopher B. Manos, Producer of Theater of the Stars. "This season offers shows that families and patrons of all ages will enjoy. Theater of the Stars looks forward to providing Atlanta with another fun summer of live entertainment!"

Theater of the Stars is also pleased to announce a partnership with Georgia Aquarium, the world's largest with more than 10 million gallons of water and the largest collection of aquatic animals. BUDDY is a musical celebration of the legendary singer/songwriter Buddy Holly. This International sensation is the original juke box musical and includes all of Buddy's hits including. "That'll be the Day", "Peggy Sue", "Rave On" and "Oh Boy". We are pleased to announce that TOTS is mounting this 25th Anniversary Tour.

CATS
July 23-28, 2013
Five continents, 26 countries, over eight and a half million audience members and almost 30 years later, CATS is still America's most loved family musical. It is, once again, time to celebrate with the whole family the magic, the mystery, the wonder of CATS. Create a special 'memory' one more time. Lots of local Atlanta kids will appear as "Kittens".

DREAMGIRLS Starring Jennifer Holliday

Winner of six Tony awards and two Oscars, DREAMGIRLS starring Jennifer Holliday follows the story of an all-girl singing trio from Chicago in their quest for success. Based on the show biz stories of the 1960's R&B acts like The Supremes and JAmes Brown, DREAMGIRLS portrays the heartbreak and challenges of breaking new ground, both musically and socially, and how family and friendships triumph and last through all the trials.

STOMP is a joyful, witty and wordless show that has been seen all over the world. An eight member cast with energy to burn creates beautiful music and sly humor with found objects: Zippo lighters, push brooms, wooden poles, hammer handles, garbage cans, inner tubes, matchboxes - and yes, even the kitchen sink. It is a journey through sound, a celebration of the everyday and a comic interplay of characters wordlessly communicating through dance and drum.
