Video: Watch the Trailer for ENOLA HOLMES 3 with Millie Bobby Brown

Netflix has revealed the official trailer for Enola Holmes 3, the third film in the ongoing series focusing on the sister of famed detective Sherlock Holmes. With Millie Bobby Brown once again starring as the title character, the new movie will hit the streamer on July 1.

The new trailer sees the character as she prepares for her upcoming Malta wedding to her beloved Tewkesbury. However, things come to a head on the morning of the big event when she gets the news that her brother, Sherlock himself, has been kidnapped. 

According to the official logline, "Adventure chases detective Enola Holmes to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before." The cast also includes Himesh Patel, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Susan Wokoma, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter.

Based upon the Enola Holmes Mysteries' Book Series by Nancy Springer, Enola Holmes 3 is directed by Philip Barantini from a screenplay by acclaimed playwright and Emmy-winner Jack Thorne.

The movie is produced by Mary Parent, p.g.a., Alex Garcia, p.g.a., Ali Mendes, p.g.a., Millie Bobby Brown, p.g.a., Robert Brown, Michael Dreyer, and Jack Thorne. Joshua Grode, Jake Bongiovi, and Isobel Richards serve as executive producers.

Jack Thorne's many theatre credits include Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, King Kong, A Christmas Carol, The Motive and the Cue, When Winston Went to War with the Wireless, and Stranger Things: The First Shadow, which is currently on Broadway. For the screen, he wrote the hit series Adolescence and His Dark Materials, among others.
