Top Of The Rock Chorus Gets Ready To 'Sing Like A Girl' On Aug. 4 Join Top of the Rock Chorus for the "Sing Like a Girl" concert at 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, at UA-Pulaski Tech's Center for Humanities and Arts building, 3000 W. Scenic Dr., in North Little Rock.

Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $20 and $10 for children under the age of 15. Tickets can be purchased at www.topoftherockchorus.com or from individual chorus members.


Three award-winning quartets -- TITANIUM, The Ladies and Minor League -- will also be part of the show, as will soloist Megan Ahne, a University of the Ozarks graduate and the first Peggy Gram Scholarship Winner. The fabulous Sing Like a Girl Campers round out the show, which promises to be fun, fun, fun!

Based in Central Arkansas, Top of the Rock is a five-time regional championship chorus made up of talented women who love to sing, perform and grow as singers and musical leaders. The group, which has been performing for more than 50 years, currently has more than 50 singers of all ages.

Top of the Rock Chorus is a member of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization of nearly 22,000 women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education, competition and performance. Top of the Rock is part of Sweet Adelines International Heart of America Region 25, which is comprised of 30 choruses from Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.

TITANIUM is based out of the Dallas, Texas, area. After winning the 2017 Region 25 Quartet competition, TITANIUM represented the region at the International Competition in Las Vegas. There, they placed sixth place overall and also won the 2018 Novice Quartet Award, given to the highest scoring quartet with at least two members competing at the international level for the first time. They will be competing at the Sweet Adelines International Competition in St. Louis in October.

The Ladies, based in Texas, began their career together preparing for the 2016 Rising Star Competition and won first place in New Zealand. Since becoming the 2016 Rising Star Champions, The Ladies have performed and taught all around the country at various a cappella and barbershop camps. In March 2018, The Ladies competed in their first Region 10 quartet contest and won first place. They will be competing at the Sweet Adelines International Competition in St. Louis in October.

Minor League, a quartet from the Bassically Treble Chorus in The Colony, Texas, won second place in the Sweet Adelines Region 25 Young Women in Harmony Quartet competition. They will be competing Aug. 10 at the Rising Star Quartet contest in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
