It's murder - pure and simple...and spine-tinglingly fun! Suspect everyone in this thrilling whodunit from the mind of Agatha Christie. After 65 years, it is the world's longest running play. The Mousetrap celebrates the 65th anniversary of its premiere in the West End on October 6th, 2017 (a few short days before the opening of The Round Barn Theatre production).

The Mousetrap tells the story of a group of strangers trapped in The Monkswell Manor during a snow storm, with a murderer among them. Suspicion and intrigue flourish as these strangers try to solve a murder and wonder who will be the next victim. Revelations are made, shady pasts are revealed, and alliances are formed as Agatha Christie weaves a tangled web of deceit and suspense.

The Round Barn Theatre production is directed by Round Barn Theatre Artistic Director, Amber Burgess. The resident creative team including Executive Producer and Set Designer Richard Pletcher, Production Stage Manager Garth Moritz, Sound Designer and Audio Engineer Shayna Graverson, Costume Designer Ashley Alverth, and Property Master Ryan Schisler will be joined by Lighting Designer and Scenic Painter Tim Becze.

Round Barn Theatre patrons will recognize a few faces from the 2017 Core Company including Katherine Barnes (Mrs. Boyle), Randa Meierhenry (Mollie Ralston), Martin Flowers (Christopher Wren), Ryan Schisler (Detective Sergeant Trotter), and Travis Bird (Major Metcalf). Charles Burr, Tibbits Opera House Artistic Director (whom audiences may recognize from years past) will tread the boards at RBT once again as Mr. Paravicini. Newcomers James Powers (Giles Ralston), and Elizabeth Ferris (Miss Casewell) round out this powerful cast.

The Mousetrap opens on Wednesday, October 18, and continues through Sunday, November 6, with 2 p.m. matinees and 8 p.m. evening performances. The Mousetrap will be translated by American Sign Language interpreters for the hearing impaired on October 28th, 2017. Assisted listening devices are available upon request at all performances.
