The Dio Presents THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL

The Dio - Dining & Entertainment, Livingston County's professional, award winning dinner theatre, is excited to return to Armadillo Acres with The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical, music and lyrics by David Nehls, book by Betsy Kelso, directed by Steve DeBruyne with musical direction by Brian Rose and choreography by Kristin Renee Reeves.

The Great American Trailer Park Musical contains strong language and adult humor, and is intended for mature audiences only.

It's holiday time down in Armadillo Acres (North Florida's premier mobile-living community), and everyone's filled with with warmth and beer. But when a freak bout of amnesia strikes the trailer park Scrooge, neighborly love is put to the test. Be on hand as Betty, Lin, and Pickles jingle all the way with some new neighbors in an all-new, all-trailer-park musical! This companion to the original The Great American Trailer Park Musical is just as much of a cat-fightin', sun-worshippin', chair-throwin' good time--but with tinsel and Keg Nog.

Director Steve DeBruyne says, "After the success of our production of The Great American Trailer Park Musical last year, we knew we wanted to present the Christmas companion piece. Whether you enjoyed our original production, or you'll be joining us at the trailer park for the first time, this show is guaranteed to make you laugh and even provide a few heartwarming moments, perfect for the holiday season!"

The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical features performances by Kimberly Alley, Steve DeBruyne, Jared Hoffert, Tori Rogers, Natalie Rose Sevick and Sonja Marquis who returns to her Wilde Award winning role of Betty, the manager of Armadillo Acres who knows all of the hot gossip, and isn't afraid to let the audience in on all of the secrets!

Performances take place at The Dio, 177 E. Main Street, Pinckney Michigan, 48169 from November 23 through December 31, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, and Sunday afternoons. There will be one Sunday evening performance on December 30, and a special New Year's Eve matinee on Monday, December 31 at 12:30pm.

All tickets include dinner, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages. The menu for The Great American Trailer Park Musical includes garden salad with choice of dressing, homemade cornbread with butter and honey, savory green bean casserole, traditional holiday stuffing, slow cooked turkey pot roast served with homemade milk gravy, and The Dio's signature fried boneless chicken, plus carrot cake for dessert!

Many performances are already sold out. Remaining tickets may be purchased by visiting diotheatre.com or by calling (517) 672-6009. Seating is limited. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.
