The Apple Hill String Quartet To Play A Concert At St. Bartholomew's Church

The Apple Hill String Quartet, formerly known as the Apple Hill Chamber Players, will perform a concert at St. Bartholomew's Church on Sunday, March 7 at 3 PM.

The concert will include Schubert's String Quartet in E Flat Major, Op. 125, No. 1, Viktor Ullmann's String Quartet and Robert Schumann's String Quartet in A Minor, Op. 41, No. 1.

The Apple Hill String Quartet, resident artists of Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music, have won international praise for vital and elegant performances of chamber music literature, from 18th century masterpieces to new and commissioned works by leading composers. They serve as performing artists and core faculty for the internationally celebrated Summer Chamber Music Workshop held annually at Apple Hill. During the regular concert season, they travel across the United States, Europe, Middle East, and other areas performing concerts, conducting educational activities, and awarding scholarships to musicians of diverse backgrounds as part of the acclaimed Playing for Peace Project.

The Apple Hill String Quartet members are Elise Kuder, violin, Sarah Kim, violin, Mike Kelley, viola and Rupert Thompson, cello.
