THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE DEATHS OF CAROL O'GRADY To Receive NYC Premiere

Following a world premiere this past May, Frank Murdocco's The Public and Private Deaths of Carol O'Grady will receive its New York City Premiere as a part of the 2018 New York International Fringe Festival. In this solo piece, Carol O'Grady is found brutally murdered in her home on Christmas Eve. What follows are those around her desperately trying to make sense of their lives and their world in this heartbreaking, hilarious, and wildly vulgar show, written and performed by Murdocco. The 55-minute play is slated for three performances at the Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning, or JCAL, October 18th-20th, 2018.

The play received its World Premiere in May at Stony Brook University and will now be presented through the Fringe's BYOV program, which brings this year's festival to NYC's outer boroughs. Directed by Jessica DiPaola, Frank Murdocco, and Lindsey Smith, it will be performed Thursday, October 18th, at 7:00pm, Friday, October 19th, at 8:00pm, and Saturday, October 20th, at 8:00pm. Tickets are $15 each and can be found at www.carologrady.com.
