After work shopping each of the three plays of her trilogy, Women You Thought You Knew, over the past three years, then simultaneously directing each play for the production of the entire trilogy this past March at IATI theatre, Stephanie Lynn Wilson is happy to return on the stage in the Caribbean flavored choreopoem Snapshots in Transit.

Although she did act in one of the plays of her trilogy, the role of "Sylvia" in Snapshots in Transit is her biggest challenge, with her character's many monologues and Shakespearean wordiness with a Caribbean accent. She enjoys finding new ways to express the boldness and brashness of the character. She thanks playwright, producer and choreographer Noel Hall for the adventure, and co-producer Beverly Bonner for the opportunity, and director Arthur French for summing up the character for her in a rehearsal note with just two words, "She's crazy".

The 5 character play runs every Sunday in October at Broadway Comedy Club, 318 West 53rd Street at 4pm. Tickets $20 in advance $25 door with a 2 drink minimum. Click here for tickets.
