As part of Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) Master Artist Series, Koz leads a master class with seven talented musicians from the Garn Family Jazz Studies Program. Koz performs alongside the jazz combo, and offers valuable feedback on how they can hone their musical talents. Nearly 200 VIPs and students from the Instrumental Music Conservatory observe. A brief question-and-answer session takes place at the end of the event.

Orange County School of the Arts' (OCSA) second annual Master Artist Series gives students the opportunity to learn and gain valuable advice from guest artists, teachers and award-winning arts professionals. The series began last year in celebration of the school's 30th anniversary. Professionals in music, writing, musical theater, acting, culinary arts and more visit the campus to inspire students and give them exceptional, once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunities within their art disciplines. More artists to visit OCSA as part of this series include: Broadway actress Megan McGinnis, author Alice Sebold, the Joffrey Ballet, conductor Michael Tilson Thomas, composer David Newman, critic Jon Burlingame and many others. OCSA provides a creative, challenging and nurturing environment that offers bright and talented students unparalleled preparation for higher education and a profession in the arts.
