New York City Bluesman Meyer Rossabi and the Perfect Storm unleash their electrifying live sound at New York City's Alphabet Lounge on May 6th at 9pm. This special live performance will feature songs from Rossabi's new CD "Just A Little Taste of the Blues." The Perfect Storm include composer / drummer Fred Coscia and bassist Kristopher Scherer ("Pennsylvania Kris").

Just A Little Taste of the Blues features five original new songs by Meyer Rossabi and "Born in Chicago" written by Nick Gravenites. The songs are deeply-rooted in Chicago and Texas Blues and feature Rossabi's dynamic fretwork. The tracks cover topics from career oriented women ("Modern Woman"), the gangster life ("Deadly Ties"), changing careers ("Stop Thinking"), relationships gone wrong ("Gone Too Far"), and the hard rockin' "Hurricane," which deals with "a hurricane of people going crazy."

Meyer Rossabi is a singer, composer and blues guitarist dedicated to keeping the legacy of the Blues alive. Influenced and inspired by artists such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Healy, Les Paul, StEve Ray Vaughn, and Johnny Winter, Rossabi takes the music of his predecessors and brings it to a new level. Renowned for his firey guitar solos and his smooth soulful voice, Meyer Rossabi is an exciting new voice in American music. He has performed with artists such as Gary US Bonds and Chuck Berry. Meyer wrote the opening song and additional music for the movie "Brooklyn Boys." Meyer's new CD Just A Little Taste of the Blues was recorded on a Les Paul 1959 Flametop. Fred Coscia has played the drums and toured the world with with music legends Chuck Berry, Bo Didley, and the Drifters. Fred is also a composer whose original songs have been featured on WOR Radio and various NYC television shows. His songs have also been sung by singers in venues ranging from Sullivan Hall to Carnegie Hall in New York City. Fred produces his own SITV show called Fred's Interesting Topics, that has featured emerging artists as well as Broadway stars. Fred is currently a representative for Universal TV and Movie Producers.

Kristopher Scherer is the bassist for Perfect Storm. He is also the frontman for the group, Life Rescue, who are from Pennsylvania. Life Rescue recently performed at New York City's Webster Hall.
