Rainbow Theatre Project To Present A DEAFENING SOUND

Rainbow Theatre Project will continue its sixth season with Jeffrey Higgins' A Deafening Sound. This two-night only cabaret will run November 23 and 24 at 7:30 pm at the District of Columbia Arts Center.

On November 8th, 2015, Jeffrey Higgins was fired from his singing job in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington for being a gay, married man. After a short battle with the Church, Jeffrey left music behind, finding it too painful to relive his sacking with every note he sang. A Deafening Sound is his return to the musical world. Using music from several genres, Jeffrey will tell a deeply personal story of shame, depression, love, and the climb back to stable ground.

A Deafening Sound will be directed and performed by playwright and musician Jeffrey Higgins. Seeing the Show.

A Deafening Sound will be performed on November 23 and 24, 2018 at the District of Columbia Arts Center. Tickets are general admission and can be purchased for $35. For tickets please visit: http://www.rainbowtheatreproject.org/tickets.html
