Radiotheatre Presents HOLIDAYS SCI-FI FESTIVAL In celebration of its 15th anniversary, New York's own Radiotheatre offers an alternative to your usual Scrooge and Nutcracker-filled holiday entertainment bill with a sci-fi double feature. They'll be reprising their own award-winning productions, the Drama Desk-nominated Mary Shelley's FRANKENSTEIN, and the NYIT Innovative Theater Award-winner H.G.Wells' THE TIME MACHINE. Radiotheatre is going all out for these two adaptations, packing them with their usual complement of cool visual effects and award-winning sound design, not to mention an original orchestral score. These exciting, yet poignant, family-oriented tales for the holiday season come to the stage at the 190-year-old St. John's Sanctuary in the heart of historic Greenwich Village, NYC.

Written by a 19 years old girl in 1818, FRANKENSTEIN is celebrating its 200th Anniversary this year! THE TIME MACHINE (1898) was written by the Father of Modern Science Fiction and has never been surpassed in its theme about the dangers of traveling into the past and future. Both books have NEVER been out of publication around the world and continue to influence countless students, writers, filmmakers, artists, scientists and theologians alike. These stories are timeless in themselves as their protagonists, a scientist and an inventor, boldly go where no man has gone before... challenging both God and the boundaries of morality and science...an issue that is still hotly debated in our times, as well! Will mankind ever succeed in this quest...or will it all lead to our inevitable doom?

RADIOTHEATRE pulls out all the stops with these two adaptations, presenting a terrific original orchestral score for each and packed with visual FX and award-winning sound design ...in exciting, yet poignant, family-oriented tales for the holidays' season, presented by its usual great company of storytellers...within its home at the 190 years old St.John's Sanctuary in the heart of historic Greenwich Village, NYC.
