Pasadena Roof Orchestra Shows Audiences that 'Swing Is In' Both thrilling and timeless, Pasadena Roof Orchestra is set to perform at Walton Arts Center on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 7 pm as part of the 10x10 Arts Series.

For over 40 years the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, based in the United Kingdom, has delighted audiences around the world with its mix of swing and hot dance music. Pasadena Roof Orchestra concerts include famous tunes such as "Puttin on the Ritz," "Sweet Georgia Brown," "The Lullaby of Broadway" as well as hot numbers from the twenties like Duke Ellingtons' "Black and Tan Fantasy" and "Truckin."

When it comes to authentic swing music, Pasadena Roof Orchestra has no equal. Their reputation is as legendary as the bands from the 1920s and '30s that inspire them.

Before the show, patrons are invited to attend a Creative Conversation at 6 pm with the ensemble led by a member of Walton Arts Center's programming staff. Following the show, patrons are also invited to attend an after party with the artists in the Walker Atrium and share their thoughts about the show with the popular Post-It Note responses.
