Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) will present, in partnership with the Atlantic Wind Symphony, the final performance of the "Pops in Patchogue" 2014-15 concert series, titled "A Musical Journey Through Europe," featuring the winner of our student solo competition on Sunday, May 31, at 3 p.m.

The Atlantic Wind Symphony is Long Island's oldest fully professional concert band featuring Long Island musicians exclusively. The Atlantic Wind Symphony made its Carnegie Hall debut on March 22, 1998, and recently performed at the Islip Arts Councils' "Honor our Hometown Heroes" concert at Heckscher Park on July 12, 2014, and at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts for the "Sousa Salutes our Armed Forces" concert on Nov. 9, 2014. The Atlantic Wind Symphony programs are fully funded or partially funded by Suffolk County. The music director is Joel Levy.
