North West Prepares For An Evening Of Ridiculous Comedy As Irish Star Takes Centre Stage A celebrated comedian will be treading the boards of Warrington's Parr Hall next month with a hilarious show of sheer ridiculousness.

Back by overwhelming demand, much-loved comedian Jimeoin is back in the UK to give his motherland audiences their comedy fix with his new show, Ridiculous.

Notorious for being Ridiculous, Jimeoin is internationally acclaimed as one of live comedy's masters, and his uncanny ability to find the funny in everyday situations has rocketed him to the very top of his game.

His brilliantly observed, ever-evolving and hilarious stand-up has also made him the undisputed star of top TV shows such as Live at the Apollo, Sunday Night at the Palladium, the John Bishop Show, CH4's O2 Comedy Gala, and the Royal Variety Performance.

The Northern Irish comedian left his home in Portstewart in the 1990's and settled in Australia where he fell into his comedy career by chance, after a friend's dare to get up at an open mic night in Sydney.

His disarmingly relaxed and often nonsensical humour fast led him to become a household name. His Edinburgh fringe debut in 1993 completely sold out to rave reviews and he has returned most years ever since. Jimeoin also regularly performs extensive sell-out tours of Australia, UK and Ireland.

Entertaining fans across the globe, Jimeoin's stand-up is no stranger to critical acclaim, with one review from the Edinburgh Evening News saying: "This is the comedy of one who truly perceives human behaviour, breaks it up and puts it all together again in all its ridiculousness, to leave you with your eyes streaming."

So make sure you don't miss out when this hilarious show comes to Warrington's Parr Hall on Saturday 10 February 2018.

Tickets are on sale now at www.pyramidparrhall.com or by calling Box Office on 01925 442345.

Pyramid and Parr Hall are two of the North West's leading arts and entertainment venues for music, comedy, dance, drama and much more. The venues have played host to big name acts including John Bishop, The Stone Roses, Billy Ocean, Jools Holland, and Peter Kay, to name a few.

Parr Hall is a listed building and has been a long standing feature of Warrington's cultural scene since its opening in 1895. It is a medium sized concert venue with 1000 seats.

Pyramid opened in 2002, with support from Arts Council England and the National Lottery, as an arts centre focusing on smaller performances and community events. It offers a range of spaces to hire for events, weddings and conferences.

The venues are run by Culture Warrington, which is a charitable trust that was established in May 2012 to also manage Warrington Museum & Art Gallery and cultural events across the town including Warrington Festival and Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival.
