Milagro Presents POSADA MILAGRO 2018

Milagro invites the local community to celebrate the wonders of Christmas at Posada Milagro 2018 - a festive, cultural celebration for the whole family. Join us on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM in El Centro Milagro for an afternoon of music, dance, celebration, and joy.

2018 marks the 16th annual Posada Milagro. This community celebration, filled with Latin American traditions and culture, reflects upon the journey of Mary and Joseph in their search for refuge.

Starting at 1:00 PM, the day's activities include something special for all ages. Join us for arts and crafts workshops, Spanish storytelling, two piñatas, and performances featuring long-time favorites Ballet Papalotl, Colectivo Son Jarocho de Portland, and the traditional pastorela, hosted by Noel Alvarez. Performances are at 2 and 4 PM in the Milagro Theatre, tickets are free and will be distributed on a first come/first serve basis beginning at 1:00 PM. Additionally, delicious authentic Mexican food by Tortilleria Y Tienda De Leon will be available for purchase throughout the day.

As in previous years, Milagro will be partnering with the Oregon Food Bank to collect food for it's hunger relief agencies throughout Oregon and Clark County, WA. Help us make a difference on a local level - Please bring canned food/non-perishable items to help make this food drive a success.

Posada Milagro 2018 is made possible by community volunteers, our longtime partners at El Centinela, and a grant from OnPoint Community Credit Union. Celebrate the holidays this year with the familia you love. Join us for Posada Milagro 2018!
