MaryBeth Bunge Returns to Hangar Theatre as Interim Managing Director

The Hangar Theatre Board of Trustees announces that MaryBeth Bunge has returned to the theatre in the new role of Interim Managing Director. Ms. Bunge served as Development Director throughout the Hangar for All Season's Campaign and was an essential player in its success. The campaign resulted in the opening of the renovated year-round theatre and performing arts center earlier this year. She brings 30 years of non-profit experience, including recent service as Director of the NYS CDFI Coalition and Development Director Alternatives at Alternatives Federal Credit Union. She has served as a professional in public relations, grants management and/or administration for the Cayuga Nature Center, Light in Winter Festival, Discovery Trail, Cornell University Libraries and Cornell College of Engineering.


MaryBeth is a member of the Lately Music Ensemble, The Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers and the Ithaca Rotary Club. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English/Theatre (Macalester College), an M.S. in Textiles & Clothing (Miami University) and a Master of Library Science (Kent State University).
