Rehearsals for production of "Shrek" have just begun and from the just the first two rehearsals, it's clear this is going to be a phenomenal show!

Little Radical Theatrics (Fatima Viegas, Executive Producer), is proud to present the first production of its' 2018 season, an all-ages production of "Shrek the Musical"

Little Radical Theatrics will proudly be going green again -- from garden to swamp -- when it brings the hilarious tale of everyone's favorite unlikely hero to dazzling new life onstage this winter! Featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori and a book by David Lindsay-Abaire, SHREK THE MUSICAL is the story of a hulking green ogre who, after being mocked and feared his entire life by anything that crosses his path, retreats to an ugly swamp to exist in happy isolation. Suddenly, a gang of misfit, past-their-prime fairy tale creatures (Pinocchio, the Three Pigs, the Big Bad Wolf, Peter Pan, the Ugly Duckling, Fairy Godmother, you name it) raid his sanctuary, saying they've been evicted by the short and short-tempered Lord Farquaad. So, Shrek strikes a deal: "I'll get your homes back, if you give me my home back!" But when Shrek and Farquaad meet, the Lord strikes a deal of his own: He'll give the fairy tale creatures their homes back, if Shrek rescues Princess Fiona from a dragon-guarded tower.

Shrek obliges, and sets off on a life-changing journey, alongside his sidekick, a wisecracking, fun-loving Donkey, and finds something appealing - something strange and different - about this pretty princess-in-waiting. He likes her. A lot. But why does she always run off when the sun sets? All of the characters you know and love from the film will make the leap from the screen to the stage in this ridiculously zany romp that promises to be part romance, part twisted fairy tale, and all-around irreverent fun

Starring Nicholas Culver as Shrek, Moriel Behar as Fiona, Quincy Jackson as Donkey, Jim DeBlasi as Lord Farquaad, Ruth Kenote as Dragon, Thomas Losito as Pinocchio, Martina Mehta as Gingy/Sugar Plum Fairy, Stephanie Lourenco as Mama Ogre/Mama Bear, Josh Miller as Papa Ogre/Papa Bear, Ariela Rozentul as Young Fiona, Maggie Lockwood as Teen Fiona, Sabatino Cruz as Young Shrek
